Florian Pihs is Data and Analytics Program Director at MRM Worldwide in Beijing, the interactive agency of McCann Worldgroup. In this function he is leading the Web Analytics effort for major clients in China and is building the local Web Analytics competence. His background in market research and consulting provide the foundation for his active evangelism for "Strategic Web Analytics" that looks beyond clickstream data.
Born in Eastern Germany, and with a degree in Business Information Systems, Florian decided to follow communism around the world and, after working for IBM as a IT specialist for web content management, joined the HKUST MBA program.
After graduation he decided to hop on the China bandwagon and started to build his China expertise at Analysys International, a local market research firm, before joining MRM Worldwide in early 2007.
